Working Together to Strengthen Southeast Georgia
United Way of Southeast Georgia proudly partners with a network of local nonprofit agencies that are creating meaningful, measurable impact across our region. These organizations provide critical services—from food access and shelter to youth development, health support, and financial stability—that help individuals and families build stronger, healthier futures.
A Rigorous, Community-Driven Selection Process
We believe donors deserve confidence in where their dollars go. That’s why every agency seeking United Way funding completes a thorough application and participates in an in-depth interview and presentation with a panel of trained community volunteers.
This Citizen Review & Community Investment Panel evaluates each agency’s effectiveness, financial stewardship, program outcomes, and alignment with community needs. Their recommendations guide our funding decisions, ensuring that United Way investments are transparent, accountable, and directed where they will make the greatest impact.
Your Voice Shapes Your Community
This process ensures that local residents have a direct role in determining how their contributions are used. By engaging community members in decision-making, we uphold our commitment to fairness, accountability, and strengthening the fabric of Southeast Georgia—together.
