For many families in our region, the cost of living is outpacing their income. In Bulloch County alone, 51% of households do not earn enough to cover basic expenses. The result is a growing crisis in housing affordability—and a growing number of families at risk of losing their homes.
United Way of Southeast Georgia tackles this challenge head-on. We serve on community committees focused on long-term housing solutions, and we fund programs that provide rapid intervention for households facing eviction. For those experiencing chronic homelessness, we invest in permanent housing options paired with essential support services to help people regain stability and rebuild their lives.
